City revises land compensation rates
The HCM City People's Committee has approved modifications and supplements to land compensation prices to pave the way for three projects in the city.
They include the Nhat Ban irrigation canal improvement in Tan Binh District, infrastructure upgrading in residential areas outside Tan Hoa-Lo Gom Canal in Binh Tan District, and expansion of the Ha Noi Highway in District 9.
For the Nhat Ban irrigation canal project, the price of land at the Bach Dang No 1 streetfront is raised to VND30 million (US$1,580) per square metre, and that at the Bach Dang No.2 streetfront to VND32.2 million per square metre, while those on alleys on these streets will be supplemented, ranging from VND10.3 million to VND21 million per square metre.
Prices of land at Phan Anh streetfront in Binh Tan District's Binh Tri Dong Ward are set at VND17.8 million per square metre.
For the project of the Ha Noi Highway expansion, land at the highway streetfront ranges from VND14.6 million to VND18.65 million per square metre.
Land on alleys along the highway are priced from VND4.68 million to 11.6 million per square metre.
