Int’l Jewelry and Watch Fair opens in HCM City

The fourth International Jewelry and Watch Fair opened at Ho Chi Minh City International Exhibition and Convention Centre on December 3.

The event was organised by the Exhibition Service Co. Ltd, under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in coordination with the World Trade Expo Co. Ltd from Hong Kong, China.

The fair drew the participation of jewelry and watch manufacturers from 26 countries and territories over the world.

During the event, from December 3-6, international distributors introduced various kinds of goods to visitors mainly from Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar.

On display are expensive jewelry and gemstones such as diamonds and pearls and watches designed in 2009 and 2010 including the diamond watch of Catene Belle Ltd from Hong Kong, China and timepieces from Geneve Timepiece Corp Ltd and Kitaro Industrial Co. Ltd.

The latest jewelry models come from India, Italy, the US, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Israel, Turkey and Thailand.
