Malaysia’s Berjaya gets approval for Vietnam property project

Berjaya Land Bhd. said it received approval from the licensing authority in Vietnam to develop a property project there with an estimated gross development value of $6.3 billion.

Development works on the Nhon Trach New City Township project will start in 2012 and is estimated to cost $4.9 billion to develop, Berjaya Land said in a statement in Kuala Lumpur Wednesday.
