Profit in quarter 3 reached VND96.4 billion (107.8% in comparison with that in the first 06 months 2009).
Business result in quarter 3/2009 increased more than that in the first 06 months 2009 because production of exploiting rubber increased and the latex price increased. In the quarter 3/2009, the company did not liquidate rubber trees so profit from other activities was low. Liquidation activities of rubber trees just focus in quarter 1 & 4 every year.
At the present, price of finished rubber is high (VND36.5 million/ton), exporting price is USD2,130/ton. Expected profit before tax in quarter 4 will be VND150 billion. Therefore, the 2009 profit will be about VND340 billion (151.11% in comparison with the 2009 plan, included about 188% of profit from trading rubber).
