NGC: Explanation for the change of over 5% in operating result in QIII- 2009
According to the Financial Statement Quarter III/2009, net income is VND 1,321,153,534 with an increase of VND 605,773,505 (84.68%) compared to Quarter II/2009. Ngo Quyen Export Seafood Processing JSC explained the increase in operating result in QIII/ 2009 as follows:
- The increase of production capacity and consumption has helped reduced the price of products.
- Focus on production of items of high value and effectiveness.
- Gross profit increased partly because of the foreign exchange differences between the USD and VND; enjoyment of preferential interest rates for bank loans.
- Production infrastructures (factories, machinery) are invested, renovated with new technology, improving production capacity and stablizing products quality to meet the requirements of import customers. This is a factor reducing costs of goods sold and product’s price.
- Planning for Quarter IV/2009: Fasten the capital flow, reduce production cost by closely monitoring the cost of goods sold, cost of materials and power consumption. Concentrate on production of items of high value, efficiency; apply a reasonable human resource policy to attract workers to meet production demands.
