IFS: Interfood moves a factory

Interfood Shareholding Company (IFS: INTERFOOD) has moved a factory in Tan Tien, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai:

* According to the policy of the People’s Committee of Dong Nai on moving factories out of urban areas, the transference of INTERFOOD’s factory in Tan Tien, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai had been made since early September 2009. Machinery was moved to another factory in Tam Phuoc Industrial Zone, Long Thanh, Dong Nai and finished in late September 2009. The factory in Tan Tien, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai officially stopped operating as from September 28th 2009.

* The change did not affect the company’s business plan because the company invested in new machinery in the plant in Tam Phuoc Industrial Zone, Long Thanh, Dong Nai. The company’s output still can meet the market’s demand.

* INTERFOOD transferred nearly 300 employees to the plant in Tam Phuoc Industrial Zone and accepted the resignations of more than 100 people who could not moved.
