FPT posts $70.6 million in first nine months
FPT Corporation yesterday announced that it had achieved stable growth in the third quarter, and that it earned a profit of VND1.27 trillion (US$70.6 million) in the first nine months of this year.
General director Bui Quang Ngoc said that the corporation’s total revenue in the third quarter reached nearly VND4.6 trillion ($260.8 million), a 24.4 per cent year-on-year increase. Before-tax profit was VND485 billion, a 128.2 per cent year-on-year increase – 21.3 per cent above expectations.
After-tax profit of the parent company grew 167.4 per cent, reaching VND322 billion, while share fetched VND2,286 each in the third quarter.
By the end of the third quarter, the corporation’s total revenue was nearly VND12.9 trillion, growing 3.8 per cent year-on-year, and meeting 75.6 per cent of the year’s target.
Before-tax profit was VND1,272 billion, up 50.8 per cent year-on-year and meeting 83.9 per cent of the year’s target.
After-tax profit of the parent company was VND774 billion, up 52.2 per cent year-on-year. Basic earnings per share was VND5,488.
