Export portal opens up opportunities for businesses

A series of workshops to introduce the Vietnam export portal at http://www.vnex.com.vn/ will be held in Hanoi, Quang Ninh province, Da Nang City, Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang City from Oct. 21-30.

According to the Industry and Trade Ministry, the workshops, which are held under the EU-Vietnam Multilateral Trade Assistance Project (EU-Vietnam MUTRAP III), also aims to train local enterprises on the way to exploit online information and export e-marketing.

The business community is also encouraged to get involved in updating information on the website.

The portal offers information on more than 16,000 Vietnamese enterprises and their export products. It also allows Vietnamese enterprises to place advertisements.

In addition, information on foreign export markets as well as international trade agreements will also be updated regularly on VNEX to assist local businesses in their export activities.
