Hochiminh Stock Exchange announces the record date for the bonus stock issuance of Viet Nam Dairy Products Joint-Stock Company (VNM: VINAMILK):

* Ex-right date:                18 September 2009

* (In case of put-through trading with volume from 100,000 shares and over on 18 & 21 September 2009, sellers will not receive pre-emption rights.)  

* Record date:                              22 September 2009    

* Estimated trading date:               15 October 2009

* Total bonus volume:                   175,640,310 shares

* The bonus shares are

* Exercise ratio is 1:1. Shareholder who owns 1 existing shares will receive 1 new share.

Place of payment:

- Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.

- Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: The place of payment will be noticed until there is an official announcement from the company.

Viet Nam Securities Depository – Hochiminh Branch will temporarily suspend the depository activities for VNM on 21, 22 & 23 September 2009.
