Tin Nghia Bank allowed to increase charter capital for 2009
The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Document No. 6888/NHNN-TTGSNH on September 7 to permit the Viet Nam Tin Nghia Joint-Stock Commercial Bank to increase its charter capital to VND 3,399 billion from VND 1,133 billion at the request of the SBV Branch in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Governor asked the SBV Branch in Ho Chi Minh City to appraise the documents submitted by the Viet Nam Tin Nghia Bank and instruct the Bank to implement the capital increase in compliance with the applicable regulations. In addition, the SBV Governor required all individual shareholders who are expected to own above 5% of additional charter capital of this bank to prove their financial capacity in their capital contribution to the Viet Nam Tin Nghia Bank in compliance with laws.
