Qatari Diar may invest in Vietnam project: report
Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Co., a property development arm of Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund, may invest in a project in Vietnam similar to one in Tajikistan announced last month, The Peninsula reported.
The company is also considering investing in China, the newspaper said, citing Hassan Al-Fadala, deputy chief executive officer for operations.
The US$150 million-project in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, includes residential towers, commercial and retail space and a five-star hotel and will be completed in 2013, the newspaper said.
