Construction work on Van Phong port to start soon
Construction work will begin on Van Phong International Port in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa will start in late September.
In the first phase of the VND1,000-billion project, two deepwater docks will be built in the Dam Mon area of Van Phong bay.
Under Vietnam’s overall plan for development of seaports until 2020, Van Phong bay will be the only international transit port in the country.
