Vietnam-invested gypsum plant inaugurated in Laos
A Vietnamese-invested gypsum mill has been inaugurated in the Lao central province of Khammouane.
The investor – the Vietnam-Laos Co. Ltd of the Ha Tinh Trade and Mineral Corporation – has pumped US$3 million into construction and the initial production phase of the mill.
In the testing phase, the mill will to churn out 30,000 tonnes of gypsum a year, and is expected to produce 60,000 tonnes a year at full capacity.
