Vietnamese and Swedish travel companies provide charter flights

The Asian Trails Company has joined hands with two other travel firms to sign a contract with Sweden’s Apollo tourist company to bring European visitors to Vietnam on charter flights.

The Director of Asian Trails, Bui Viet Thuy Tien, said flights from Sweden to Vietnam would be conducted every week starting from December this year to March 2010.

Visitors will stay in Ho Chi Minh City for one or two nights and will be able to register for tours of Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Phan Thiet.

There will be 15 such charter flights in the three-month period with a package tour at a cost of US$3,500 per visitor for the two-week stay in Vietnam.

Most of tourists will come from Scandinavian countries such as Norway, Denmark and Sweden.
