Vietnam attracts more than 500 FDI projects in 2009
Over the past eight months, Vietnam has attracted more than 500 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with a combined registered capital of over US$5.6 billion.
In addition, 140 FDI projects have increased their investment capital by a total of US$4.8 billion, up 3.8 percent compared to the same period last year.
In the reviewed period, FDI projects disbursed US$6.5 billion. Since the beginning of this year 35 countries and territories have invested in Vietnam.
