Thirty-one out of 62 projects in the Bo Y Border Gate Economic Zone in the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum have been canceled due to late investment.

The economic zone management board said Sunday the other 31 projects, which are still in effect, still required more than VND77,000 billion ($4.5 billion) worth of pledged investment.

Six projects have been completed with the initial capital of more than VND86 billion ($5 million); seven projects require around VND1,600 billion ($93.5 million) and 18 other projects are being planned.
