SEB: Notice of record date for Dividend payment

SEB announces the record date for dividend payment as follows:

- Issuer: Mien Trung Power Investment and Development JSC

- Stock code: SEB

- Par value: VND 10,000

- Stock type: Common stock

- Record date: 31/8/2009

- Ex-date:

+ For T+3 transactions: 27/8/2009

(Note: For T+1 transactions, buyers still enjoy the rights for transactions on 27/8/2009)

- Reasons: Last dividend payment 2008 (2.25%) and first dividend payment 2009 (7.75%)

+ Exercise rate: 10% (shareholders receive VND 1,000 for every 01 share they own)

+ Exercise date: 23/9/2009

+ Place of payment:

- For deposited shares: securities companies where shares of shareholders have been deposited.

- For undeposited shares: Mien Trung Power Investment and Development JSC on working days since23/9/2009. Securities certificate and Identification Card (original copy) are required. In case of authorization, a proxy with certified seal of the local authority is further requested in addtion to the mentioned above.

Vietnam Securities Depository suspends the depository of SEB on 28/8, 31/8, 1/9/2009.
