Aug.20: Enter the festival with caution

There won’t be much good news for the stock market until the end of this month. It’s just following global markets at the moment.

Small-time investors are keeping a close eye on confectionery stocks, which are expected to surge before the upcoming Mid-autumn Festival.

But they should be cautious as unlike necessities, profits from sweets and pastries don’t always meet expectations easily.

We recommend that investors focus on stocks with dividend rates higher than bank rates.
