VNM: Announcement of dividend payment and extraordinary meeting
HOSE announces the record date for the list of shareholders as follows:
* Name of the listed firm: Viet Nam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company
* Stock symbol: VNM
* Stock type: Common stock
* Par value: VND10,000
* Ex-right date: 20 July 2009
In case of put-through trading with volume from 100,000 shares and over on 20 July 2009 and 21 July 2009, sellers will not receive the right)
* Record date: 22 July 2009
* Purpose of using the list of shareholders:
1. To pay dividend in advance for the first tranche of 2009:
- Pay-out ratio: 20%/par value (VND2,000/share)
- Payment date: 05 August 2009
Place of payment:
- Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
- Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: The place of payment will be noticed later.
2. To hold an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting:
- Content of the meeting: Decision on issuing bonus shares to current shareholders with a ratio of 1:1.
- The meeting date and venue will be noticed after the Board of Directors has an official decision.
Vietnam Securities Depository _ HCMC Branch will temporarily suspend the depository activities for VNM on 21, 22 & 23 July 2009.
