Bianfishco to export frozen tra fish to US

The Binh An Seafood Joint Stock Company (Bianfishco) will export over 50 containers of frozen tra fish to the US in August.

The contracts have been signed, and the 50 containers are waiting to leave for the US, the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) announced on July 15.

Bianfishco, one of the four largest tra fish exporters in Vietnam, has invested heavily in modern equipment and machinery, to meet the high standards required by the US.

The company has also built a series of EU-standard production units, which have certified as ISO 9001:2000.

In March, 2009, the company established a branch in California, in the US, named Bianfishco US.
