VTO: The record date for a ballot
HOSE announces the record date for a ballot as follows:
* Name of the listed firm: Viet Nam Tanker Joint Stock Company
* Stock symbol: VTO
* Stock type: Common stock
* Par value: VND10,000
* Ex-right date: 3rd July 2009 (in case of put-through trading with volume from 100,000 shares and above on 03/07/2009 and 06/07/2009, sellers will not receive the right)
* Record date: 7th July 2009
* Purpose: Doing a ballot for the following issues:
+ Issuing additional shares to existing shareholders with ratio of 3:1 in order to raise chartered capital;
+ Listing the number of additionally-issued shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange.
* Date of sending letters for a ballot: 15th July 2009
* Deadline of receving letters: 30th July 2009
Viet Nam Securities Depository – Hochiminh Branch will temporarily suspend the depository activities for VTO on 6th, 7th & 8th July 2009.
