US postpones investigation into Vietnamese plastic bags
The US Department of Commerce has announced it will postpone carrying out a preliminary investigation into Vietnam dumping plastic bags until August 28 this year, according to the Competition Management Department of Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade.
As a result, the preliminary investigation has been delayed for another 65 days with the total time for the preliminary investigation increasing to 130 days.
Previously, on April 20, the US Department of Commerce started its investigation into Vietnam’s allegedly-subsidising plastic bags for retail trade.
