ST8: The record date for dividend payment in stock
REE Corporation (ST8) will pay the second tranche of the 2008 dividend in stock:
* Name of the listed firm: Sieu Thanh Joint-Stock Corporation (SJC)
* Stock symbol: ST8
* Stock type: Common stock
* Par value: VND10,000
* Ex-right date: July 06, 2009
(In case of put-through trading with volume from 100,000 shares and over on July 06 & 07, 2009, sellers will not receive the right)
* Record date: July 08, 2009
* Exercise ratio: 5% (20:1)
The one who owns 20 shares at the record date will receive 1 new share. The volume will be rounded down. The fraction parts will be cancelled.
For example: At the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A currently owns 123 shares, the calculation as follows:
+ The number of shares distributed in theory: 123 x 5% = 6.15 shares
+ The number of shares in practice: 6 shares
+ The number of shares cancelled: 0.15 share
* Estimated issue volume: 447,863 shares
* The right to receive dividend is not transferable.
* Estimated trading day: July 28, 2009

+ Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: Shareholders make procedures of dividend payment in stock at the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
+ Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: shareholders make procedures of dividend payment in stock at the trading office of Sieu Thanh Joint-Stock Corporation: A20 Tan Phong, Nguyen Huu Tho, Tan Phong Ward, Dist. 7, HCMC.
Vietnam Securities Depository _ HCMC Branch will temporarily suspend the depository activities for ST8 on July 07, 08 & 09, 2009.
