VIP: Examination of the financial statement and business result

Vietnam Petroleum Transport Joint Stock Company (VIP: VIPCO) has given explanation for examining the Q1/09 financial statement and business result in Q1/09 as follows:

1. Examination of the financial statement:

VIPCO has chosen the Deloitte Vietnam Company Ltd. for 2009. VIPCO has many member companies thus setting the consolidated financial statement has been taken much time. Deloitte has agreed VIPCO to publish its Q1/09 statement without examination of the auditing company.

2. Business result in Q1/09:

- Profit after tax in Q4/08: (VND2,069,715,294)

- Profit after tax in Q1/09: VND26,996,813,415

Profit in Q1/09 increased rapidly due to its high effective operation.
