TXM: Results of Annual General Meeting of Shareholders 2009
Gypsum and Cement JSC has disclosed the results of its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders 2009. The following resolutions were approved:
1. Report of Operating result of 2008
- Total turnover: 411,212 tons - 53.75% of the plan
- Revenue: VND 296,742,800,375 – 56.04% of the plan
- Profit before tax: VND 6,413,382,990 – 76.61% of the plan
2. Plan in 2009
- Total turnover: 599,000 tons
- Revenue: VND 489.980 bil.
- Profit before tax: VND 6.419 bil.
- Dividend payout ratio: 6.2%
3. Plan of investment and development:
- Quang Tri cement crushing plant: trial production in QII/2009
- Establishment of Gypsum exploiting and processing JV in Laos: completing in the beginning of 2010
- 4 star hotel in Hue City
- Studying, producing by – product of gypsum and cement.
4. Audited financial statement 2008 and profit distribution plan:
- Profit after tax: VND 4,619,636,172
- Reduced tax used to supplement the Investment and Development Fund: VND 1,793,746,818
- Dividend payment 2008 (6.2%): VND 4,340,000,000
- Profit for distribution: VND 279,636,172
- Reserve fund to supplement the charter capital: VND 46,196,362
- Financial reserve fund: VND 46,196,362
- Reward and welfare fund: VND 33,906,555
- Retained earnings: VND 33,906,555
5. Payment for Board of Directors and Supervisory Board 2009: VND 288 mil.
