Refrigeration Electrical April profit may reach $5.35 mln

Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Joint-Stock Company (REE), a maker of air conditioners and electrical appliances, said it estimates April revenues at VND95.2 billion (US$5.35 million) and pre-tax profit at VND30.8 billion.

The figures mean January-April revenues fell 35 percent year-on-year to VND285.5 billion but profit before tax rose 103 percent to VND111.1 billion, it said in a statement posted on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange Thursday.

Refrigeration Electrical shares Thursday jumped 4.9 percent to close at VND40,800.
