HPG: Business result in the first 4 months 2009

Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company (HPG: HOA PHAT GROUP) has informed of business result in the first 4 months 2009 as follows:

- In April, sales was VND648 billion and profit after tax was VND102 billion.

- Accumulation for the first 4 months 2009:

+ Sales: VND2,260 billion, reaching 36% of sales plan

+ Profit after tax: VND402 billion, reaching 69% of profit plan

- The stimulus packages of the Vietnam government have brought advantages to operation of businesses. Construction projects have been re-started leading to increase of steel consumption. In April, consumption output of the company gained 32,600 tons of steel. Thus, it raised the total output in the first 4 months this year as 105,000 tons. Production of the company obtained 100% of capacity.
