Business delegation visits Germany

A delegation of 20 businesses operating in import-export, tourism, trade and services visited Germany from May 5-8 for trade promotion activities and study of the market.

The delegation worked with representatives of the Brandenburg State authorities and the State Ministry of Economic Affairs of Brandenburg in Potsdam city.

The Germany side informed the delegation of Brandenburg’s import-export activities with Vietnam and spoke about opportunities for foreign investors, including Vietnamese, to invest in the State.

The host also expressed its support for stronger cooperation between businesses of the two sides.

At a meeting in Potsdam the same day, German and Vietnamese businesses exchanged views on strengths of both sides, their experiences and discussed measures to promote cooperation.

On May 7, in Viethaus (Vietnam House) in Berlin, the delegation met with representatives of overseas Vietnamese businesses in Germany to examine cooperate possibilities.

Vietnamese businesses at home and overseas agreed that that they have great potentials to increase cooperation, benefiting themselves and the country.
