Bien Hoa Sugar expects profits this year

Bien Hoa Sugar Joint-Stock Company announced its 2009 business plans last week at a shareholders’ meeting, including a pretax profit target of VND45.6 billion ($2.6 million).

The company, based in the southern province of Dong Nai, targets revenue of VND807.4 billion.

It posted a loss of VND43 billion in 2008 due to losses in securities investment.
