BIDV in partnership with Hong Kong Financial Company

The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has officially established a strategic partnership with Sun Hung Kai Financial Company (SHKF) – one of Hong Kong’s leading non-bank financial institutions.

Under a memorandum of understanding recently signed between BIDV and SHKF, the two sides will establish a joint venture in Hong Kong to provide such financial services as capital mobilisation, fund management, investment consultancy and others in order to create a two-way investment channel between Hong Kong and Vietnam.

The event marks an important step in the long-term cooperation between BIDV and SHKF, helping them broaden their business operations.

BIDV Deputy General Director Le Dao Nguyen said he hoped the cooperation will bring in mumerous investment opportunities, in both Hong Kong and Vietnam.

For his part, SHKF Executive Chairman Lee Seng Huang said the agreement  with BIDV would help his company extend its financial network in the region, improve its services’ quality and provide customers with larger investment opportunities.
