SGH: Cancel the annual shareholders’ meeting

Saigon Hotel Corporation (SGH: Saigon Hotel) has informed of canceling the annual shareholders’ meeting as follows:

* As informed, the meeting was organized on 16/04/2009 with participants under the shareholder list on the record date of 09/03/2009. However, there were 40 participants representing for 783,680 shares which only accounted for 44.82% of chartered capital.

* According to the business law, the number of shareholders attending the annual meeting must be made up at least 65%. Therefore, chairman of the BOD decided to cancel the meeting and expected to hold it on 15/05/2009.
