6 projects in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia need investment

The Vietnam Banks Association and the ASEAN Bankers Association on April 2 organised an international seminar on project funding and investment opportunities in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam.

This was an opportunity for representatives of the ASEAN Bankers Association to exchange experiences and build investment opportunities for countries in the Greater Mekong sub-region (GMS) in the future.

Representing the host Vietnam, the Foreign Investment Department, under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, briefed attendees on the Law on Foreign Investment in the country, as well as investment projects in Vietnam and the framework of preferential policies for foreign investors.

In particular, 6 projects in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia were introduced to solicit for investment.
