YBC: Explanation for fluctuation of operating result in Quarter IV.2008

Yen Bai Cement and Mineral JSC explains for fluctuation of operating result in Quarter IV.2008 over that of QIII.2008 as follows:

-          Due to the economic recession in the world and Vietnam, market for cement and CaCO3 powder of the company was narrowed. Output was kept unchanged but the price was decreased, therefore revenue and profit declined.

-          High production cost made higher the product price, lower profit.

-          QIV.2008 income tax included VND 85,641,000 of QIII.2008 income tax
