SAM: The second annual shareholders’ meeting

Cables and Telecommunications Material Joint Stock Company (SACOM) has informed of result of the annual shareholders’ meeting 2009 as follows:

* On 20/3/2009, the company held the annual meeting at 145 Ly Chinh Thang, Ward 7, Dist.3, HCMC. However, there were only 214 participants, accounting for 51.25% of contribution capital. Basing on the Article 102 - Business Law 2005 and the Article 18 – Regulations of the company, the annual shareholders’ meeting could not be done because the number of attendants was less than 65% of capital which has right to vote.

* Therefore, the meeting has been delayed and it will be held at 8.30am on 29/3/2009. Venue of the meeting is 145 Ly Chinh Thang, Ward 7, Dist.3, HCMC.

* Participants: under the shareholder list on the record date of 20th January 2009.
