TLC: Explanation for loss of Quarter IV/2008 operating results

Thang Long Telecommunications JSC explains for loss of QIV.2008 operating results as follows:

- Quarter IV.2008 is always a difficulty time for enterprises due to fluctuation of market price, foreign exchange rate, high inflation. 

- The company set up a provision for possible contingency of inventory deduction of VND 13,596,534,966 as of 31/12/2008.

- Machines and equipment were not used in full capacity due to less work caused high cost of fixed asset.

- Debt recovery was not well due to credit tightening policy of the State.
