Textile firm wins $1 million European order: Report

The Sai Gon Garment Manufacturing Trade Joint Stock Co. has beaten Chinese and Thai competitors to a bid to supply 100,000 products worth more than US$1 million to a European buyer, Dau Tu Chung Khoan reported.

The textile maker will start delivering in June, when the autumn–winter season begins.

It earned profits of more than VND22 billion ($1.26 million) on revenues of VND450 billion last year.
