SDA: Explanation for fluctuation of operating result in Quarter IV.2008

Song Da SIMCO JSC explains for fluctuation of operating result in Quarter IV.2008 (consolidated) over that of QIII.2008 as follows:

Accounting profit before tax in QIV.2008 decreased 9% over that of QIII.2008 due to:

-   Revenue in QIV/2008 increased 94% over that of QIII.2008 as some business activities has been carried out from the start of the year through QIV.2008.

-   Due to fluctuation of prices in market making operating expenses increase and thus decrease profit before tax.

-   Despite decrease in QIV.2008’s profit, accumulated profit before tax of 2008 of the company gained VND 40,884 mil., reaching 109% the plan.
