HSI: Business result in Q4/2008

General Materials Biochemistry Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (MF JSC) has informed of business result in Q4/2008 as follows:

* Profit after tax in Q3/08: VND3,835,638,458

* Profit after tax in Q4/08: VND(10,828,104,489)

Reason:

* The company had difficulities of collecting receivables from its agency system due to decrease of prices of agricultural products, unstable export situation.

* High interest rate in Q4/08 affected selling prices.
