Workshop talks future of Vietnam’s stock market

The Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) and Singaporean NextView group has co-organised a workshop to forecast Vietnam ’s securities market in 2009.

Investors at the Jan. 10 workshop shared experiences and discussed ways to analyse and invest effectively in a difficult market. They also scrutinised several prominent shares.

The participants agreed that in the context of complicated changes at both international and domestic markets, investors should be equipped with sufficient knowledge to avoid risks and make profits.

NextView’s research and training specialist Benny Lee presented five simple steps for investors to earn profit.

Investors should ask themselves why to invest, where to invest, when to buy and sell, how to buy and sell and how to manage investment portfolios, according to Benny Lee.
