Vietnam, France cooperate in finance training

A French-organised training course in asset management and investment process was launched in Hanoi on Jan 12 for representatives of the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) in joint stock companies.

The five-day course was held by SCIC and the French insurance group Prevoir, in cooperation with the State Securities Commission (SSC) and AFG, the French Asset Management Association.

AFG’s investment and management experts shared experiences in internal management, risk management, asset distribution, management techniques, performance evaluation and asset management, areas that are relevant to the burgeoning Vietnamese market.

The course was attended by more than 100 representatives from businesses whose stock is held by SCIC, as well as those from SSC, Prevoir and VinaCapital.
