STB: Trading result of treasury stock

Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SACOMBANK) has informed of trading result of treasury stock as follows:

* Stock symbol: STB

* Registered volume to buy back: 25,000,000 shares (4.88% of chartered capital)

* Bought volume: 18,265,270 shares (73.06% of registered volume)

* Finance source: Provision of chartered capital and capital surplus till September 30th 2008.

* Trading method: order matching and put through

* Trading period: from 18/11/2008 to 31/12/2008

* Reason of not buying full registered volume: at the trading time, share price of the company was stable so it did not need to buy shares back. In addition, in some trading sessions, STB shares peaked at the ceiling price thus it could not buy its shares due to the current regulation of buying shares for treasury stock at the maximum price which is calculated as referred price plus 3 price sticks
