Sacombank receives two new international awards

The Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) has not only been granted the Best Bank-Vietnam 2008 award by the Asian Banking and Finance (UK) but also Vietnam’s Best Domestic Bank 2008 by the Asset in Hong Kong.

The Asian Banking and Finance and the Asset are well-known for their financial publications analysing current affairs and forecasting the development trends in the finance, banking and real estate areas.

With considerate experience in doing business research and analysing economic performances around the world, these two organisations have developed assessment criteria that take into account global trends as well as the unique context of every country to use in their selection of the most effective financial enterprises.

These two awards-the first in 2009-confirm the soundness of the bank’s operations over recent years.
