Maritime Bank says 2008 profit may double on expansion
Vietnam Maritime Bank said its gross income for 2008 may double after it enlarged its domestic branch network to win more business.
Pre-tax profits may rise to VND450 billion (US$25.7 million) in 2008 from VND200 billion a year earlier, the bank said in an e-mailed statement Friday.
Vietnam Maritime expanded its branch network 2.5 times in 2008 to 90 offices nationwide, the statement said.
