HaSTC notices the record date for Dividend Payment as follows:

-         Name of the issuer: Ha Tinh Book and Educational Equipment JSC

-         Stock code: HBE

-         Par value: VND 10,000

-         Stock type: common stock

-         Record date: 15/01/2009

-         Ex-date:

+ For T+3 transactions: 13/01/2009

+ For T+2 transactions: 14/01/2009

(Note: For T+1 transactions, buyers still enjoy the rights for transactions on 13,14/01/2009)

-         Reasons: Dividend payment in 2008 in cash

-         Exercise rate: 12% (shareholders receive VND 1,200 for every share they own)

-         Expected exercise date: 16/02/2009

-         Place of payment:

+ For deposited shares: securities companies where shares of shareholders have been deposited.

+ For undeposited shares: Ha Tinh Book and Educational Equipment JSC from 16/02/2009.

Securities certificate and Identification Card (original copy) are required. In case of authorization, a proxy with certified seal of the local authority is further requested in addtion to the mentioned above.

Vietnam Securities Depository suspends the depository of HBE on 14/01, 15/01 and 16/01/2009.
