Vietnam, China tighten hi-tech cooperation
Vietnam and China have agreed to boost cooperation in science and technology, particularly in hi-tech development and attraction of foreign investment into hi-tech zones.
The agreement was reached during the talks in Beijing on Dec. 8 between the two countries’ ministries of science and technology.
The two sides stressed the need to share experiences in the construction of hi-tech zones, the management of intellectual property in the sci-tech area and the formulation of quality standards in the field.
During its stay in China from Dec. 7-14, the delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology visited a number of industrial zones, universities, research centres and prominent businesses in Shanghai city and Hainan province.
