SSI: Extend time of applying new accounting regulation

Sai Gon Securities Incorporation (SSI) has announced time of applying the new accounting regulation for securities companies as follows:

On October 24th 2008, the Ministry of Finance issued the Circular 95/2008/TT-BTC about instruction of new accounting regulation applied in securities companies. The Circular is effective from November 26th 2008.

However, due to ending of the fiscal year 2008, SSI is unable to apply the new Circular. The company has sent document to the Ministry of Finance in order to get permission about keeping setting the financial statements of Q4/08 and the whole year 2008 under the instruction stipulated at the Decision No. 99/2000/QD-BTC of the Ministry of Finance dated June 13th 2000.

From January 1st 2009, SSI will apply the new accounting regulation under the Circular 95/2008/TT-BTC.
