Jetstar Pacific Airlines agreed to increase charter capital
The Prime Minister has approved Jetstar Pacific Airlines proposal to increase its charter capital via issuing shares to available shareholders.
Accordingly, the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) will invest more in order to hold 51% stake of Jetstar Pacific Airlines. The remaining additional-issued shares which the corporation holds the rights to buy, will be distributed to other domestic shareholders.
Australia's Quantas Airlines is currently holding 30% stake of Jetstar Pacific Airlines. The Vietnamese Prime Minister pledges to consider increasing the maximum ownership of foreign investors in Jetstar Pacific Airlines to 49%.
