HAGL to improve its IT systems
Microsoft signed an enterprise agreement with Hoang Anh-Gia Lai (HAGL) Joint Stock Co on Dec. 4 through CMC Corp, Micrsoft’s authorized dealer in Vietnam .
Under the agreement, the HAGL will standardize its IT system will genuine Microsoft Office software. The company is now running a number of Microsoft technology applications in its day-to-day reporting of financial news.
“With this agreement in place, the HAGL is contributing to the Vietnamese Government’s efforts in building a healthy investment environment and in its fight against software piracy,” said a Microsoft’s press release.
The agreement will provide the HAGL with licensing rights for Microsoft Office Professional 2007 for 250 users, as well as any updates that Microsoft may launch over the next three years.
Microsoft Vietnam and the CMC will also provide support, consultation and training for HAGL’s employees on infrastructure optimisation, operation management and secure information sharing.
