Eighty businesses awarded Golden Dragon 2008
The Golden Dragon 2008 organising board on December 17 announced the list of 80 foreign-invested (FDI) businesses to be awarded for their outstanding achievements this year and another 11 FDI enterprises to be given insignias for their registered capital of over US$1 billion.
Construction, building materials, real estate, services, finance, banking and insurance are major fields gathering businesses to obtain awards. Several familiar brands were featured such as Honda Vietnam, Toyota Vietnam (Japan), Maersk Vietnam (Denmark) and Coca Cola Vietnam (USA).
The awards ceremony will be held at the Hanoi Opera House on January 10, 2009 and be broadcast live on VTV1 channel.
The Golden Dragon award is co-organised by the Vietnam Economic Times and the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
