Chan May-Lang Co to become international commercial centre
Prime Minister has approved a plan to develop Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone in Phu Loc district in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue into a modern international economic centre in the 2008-2025 period.
It will include Chan May port covering 370ha, an urban area and a commercial, medical and educational centre on an area of 1,500ha and also a high-grade tourist site.
The 27,000ha Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone will become an important sea transport link to provide deep-water port services and transport of goods to the central economic region as well as an international gateway.
